Take action within the Enrollment Window
You have 30 days from the date of your marriage or divorce to make changes to your benefits. If you do not make changes within this time, you must wait until the next Annual Enrollment period to make benefit changes.
To dos
Add or drop your
spouse from coverage
You have 30 days from your marriage or divorce to make updates to all your benefit elections. This is your opportunity to enroll in coverage for yourself if you were previously covered on your spouse’s plan.
Visit employee.simplot.com and click the Empyrean Benefits Enrollment tile to make changes. You will be asked to provide a copy of your marriage certificate, court-issued divorce decree or legal annulment.
Add/update your
beneficiaries
- Visit rps.troweprice.com to add your Simplot Retirement Savings Plan beneficiaries.
- Visit employee.simplot.com and click the Empyrean Benefits Enrollment tile to update your life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) beneficiaries.
- Visit HealthEquity.com/Simplot to add your Health Savings Account (HSA) beneficiaries.
Update your personal information
Don’t forget to update your home address, phone number or other personal information in MySimplot. If changing your name, you’ll need a new Social Security card under your new name.
Evaluate your HSA
contribution
If you’re adding or dropping someone from coverage, you may want to evaluate your HSA contribution. You can change your contribution anytime by going to employee.simplot.com and clicking the Empyrean Benefits Enrollment tile.
Take time off
Use your available paid time off for your wedding, honeymoon or to be with your family during this time of change.

In case of an emergency at work, it’s important that we can reach someone on your behalf. You may want to visit MySimplot (employee.simplot.com) to double check you have someone listed as your emergency contact and their contact information is correct.
